Salut Harald
I enclose a rather spectacular scan of the sale on offer of ROUMET n°532 of June 5, 2012.

** 1052 3c red orange. Production trial, double printing. No 109, block of six bdf (two ex *). - TB -€ 50€ -
Prix de départ : 50 euros - Prix atteint : 433 euros !
Startpreis: 50 Euro - Erreichter Preis: 433 Euro !
Starting price: 50 euros - Price reached: 433 euros !
I think that the price reached is "overrated" because it is in itself only a scrap - voluntary or involuntary? But it's still nice to see.
It is clearly specified "manufacturing test" in the presentation of the batch.
As for the scan to be studied, I don't understand its usefulness for the manufacturing process and especially I can't identify the signature on the back.
It is not a proof either - they are, as far as I know, always without eraser.
In addition, the proofs and essays are known and listed in the various big sales - I have never seen a piece resembling this one.
This piece, if it is authentic and "unique", is still an essay. Its value is therefore in my opinion rather low, in the order of 50 to 80 euros.
If someone can identify the signature on the back, it would allow to authenticate the piece.
Here are some precisions which will allow us to move forward a little.
Amitiés,
Patrick
