Letter franked with a stamp from Prussia to three Silbergroschen for Prague.
According to the catalogue, Prussia included Hamburg, yet this city had its own stamps.
That's odd. Were the stamps from Hamburg and Prussia usable for mail?
Since the cancellation was bad, I assume it was from Hamburg, given the commercial stamp "G.L.A.OTTE - Hamburg".
According to the detail of the third image, it could be the year 1863.
The company Otte surely doesn't exist anymore, in any case, I didn't find anything on the Internet.

Salut Harald,
As for Hamburg, it remained a free city since 1769 and until 1867 when it joined the North German Confederation.
In 1871, it joined the German Empire but kept its customs autonomy.
It is therefore normal to find Prussian stamps on the mail.
Que la force soit avec toi !!!
